The Georgetown Solar PV is Westbridge Renewable’s flagship asset. The project is located near Mossleigh in Vulcan County, Southern Alberta, Canada, and encompasses 710 acres (equivalent to 400 soccer fields). The project area has a strong solar resource, characteristic of Alberta’s exceptional solar irradiance.

The Project consists of a solar power plant with a capacity of up to 230 MWac / 278MWdc, BESS with capacity of up to 200 MWh and the associated Mossleigh 1051S Substation, and is the first of the Company’s projects to receive power plant and BESS approval from the Alberta Utilities Commission (“AUC”). The site is secured for 5 years of development and 30 years of operation, with options to extend. The project is currently undergoing AESO interconnection and is expected to be the Company’s first exit.
