Georgetown

Overview

The Georgetown Solar Project is a 278 MWdc solar photovoltaic project located in Vulcan County, Alberta, Canada. The project has completed all field work, obtained Power Plant and Permit & License approvals by the AUC for the construction, operation, and interconnection of the project to the Alberta Interconnected Electric System. Once operational, the Georgetown Project is expected to generate enough electricity to power approximately 42,550 homes.
