Our Story
The renewable energy sector continues to be one of the fastest growing sectors. Driven by the realities of climate change and supported by ambitious net-zero targets, consumer opinion, and rapidly developing technologies.
This global shift towards sustainable energy has sparked a need for investments in energy transition assets. To meet global net-zero targets an average $4.5 trillion per year of investment is needed by 2030, rising to $8 trillion in 2050 (IEA estimates).
We are moving from an energy system powered by fossil fuels to one led by innovative renewable sources and technologies, such as solar, wind and hydrogen.
These existing renewable energy technologies can already reliably produce affordable, clean energy and make a critical impact. Our challenge today is to grow and scale renewables and deliver them where and when needed for millions of people, to challenge traditional energy solutions.
AI, data centres and wider electrification are driving a structural increase in electricity demand. By developing grid-ready utility-scale solar and battery-storage projects, Westbridge is helping power the next generation of AI with reliable, affordable clean energy.
