The Normandeau Solar and BESS Project is a 325 MWdc solar photovoltaic project with a 200 MWh battery energy storage system, located in Lac Le Biche County, Alberta, Canada. The project has secured site control and completed initial Environmental Studies. An application has been submitted into the AESO’s Cluster 2. Once operational, the Normandeau project is expected to generate enough electricity to power approximately 52,083 homes.
