Red Willow

Overview

The Red Willow Solar and BESS Project is a 290 MWdc solar photovoltaic project with a 200 MWh battery energy storage system, located in Stettler County, Alberta, Canada. The project has submitted an application for approval with the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) and is in Stage 3 in the AESO Connection Process. Once operational, the Red Willow Project is expected to generate enough electricity to power approximately 42,750 homes.
