The Southern Prairie Solar and BESS Project is a 300 MWdc solar photovoltaic project with a 110 MWh battery energy storage system, located in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, USA. The project has secured site control, completed initial Environmental Studies and selected a Point of Interconnection (POI). Once operational, the Southern Prairie Project is expected to generate enough electricity to power approximately 24,720 homes.
